Description
The specimen is a tan-coloured fibrotic liver showing nodules which vary in size from 1 to 10 cm.
History
This man died at the age of 77 from liver failure complicated by bronchopneumonia. He
had a long history of high alcohol intake and a number of admissions both to Public Hospital and
to Porirua Hospital because of this.
